Terms & privacy

Nothing personally identifying. No Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting, no session recording. Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path) may be retained by our hosting provider for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then discarded.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit each page. It is a privacy-focused, aggregate-only product. It does NOT set cookies, does NOT fingerprint devices, and does NOT track users across sessions or sites. Data we receive is limited to page views, referring URLs, approximate country, browser family, and device type. We cannot identify individual visitors from it. We use Steam OpenID. Steam confirms your SteamID to us; we never see your Steam password. We store your SteamID64, display name, avatar URL, and profile URL - all public Steam profile data. We use this to remember your portfolio, watchlist, and inventory preferences. You can delete your account at any time from settings; all associated data is removed immediately.

If you look up a Steam inventory, we query Steam's public inventory API using the SteamID you provide. We do not store inventory contents long-term; we cache recent lookups briefly to avoid hitting Steam's rate limits. Only public inventories are accessible - private inventories return nothing.

If you sign in and build a portfolio or watchlist, we store those entries (item IDs, quantities, cost basis if you entered one) tied to your account. This data stays on our servers and is never shared with third parties. You can export or delete it at any time.

We scrape public data from Steam Community Market and sbox.game. We do not share your activity on our site back to either source. We respect each provider's rate limits.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties. We use Cloudflare in front of the site for DDoS protection and TLS; Cloudflare may see request metadata per its own privacy policy.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of any data tied to your account by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you have no account, there is nothing personal to access - we don't track visitors.

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of the page and note the change in our public changelog. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

sboxmarket.gg is an independent price tracker for s&box cosmetic items on the Steam Community Market. We aggregate and present public market data. We are not a broker, exchange, marketplace, or trading platform. No transactions happen on this site.

Prices, charts, rankings, and analytics are for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site is investment advice. Virtual item prices are volatile and you can lose money trading them. Do your own research before buying or selling.

We make reasonable efforts to keep data current, but we scrape third-party sources that can change, go down, or return bad data without warning. Prices shown may lag real-time by minutes. Historical data may have gaps. We provide the data as-is with no warranty of accuracy or completeness.

sboxmarket.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facepunch Studios, Valve Corporation, Steam, or sbox.game. All trademarks, item names, and images belong to their respective owners. Item images are loaded directly from Steam's CDN and are used for identification purposes.

Don't scrape the site at scale. Don't attempt to overload our servers. Don't reverse-engineer or attempt to extract non-public data. Don't impersonate other users. If you want programmatic access, get in touch - we may release an API.

Portfolio notes, watchlist entries, and any data you submit remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display your data as required to run the features you use. We do not publish your data publicly unless you explicitly enable public portfolio sharing in settings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time from settings.

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including any trading decisions you make based on data displayed here. If liability is established, it is capped at $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. (You haven't paid us anything, so you do the math.)

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes are resolved in good faith first; if that fails, in the courts of that jurisdiction.
