About
About sboxmarket
The independent price tracker and market analytics platform for every s&box skin on the Steam Community Market.
What this is
A purpose-built market terminal for s&box
s&box is the game creation platform by Facepunch Studios, the team behind Garry's Mod and Rust. It ships on Steam on April 28, 2026 with a cosmetic skin economy running on the Steam Community Market. sboxmarket.gg is an independent project tracking that economy from day zero.
We scrape public market and store data continuously, store historical snapshots, and present it in a dense terminal-style interface built for traders and collectors. Not a marketplace, not a broker, not a Facepunch or Valve product. Just the data, organized honestly.
Glossary
What the numbers mean
Lowest listing
Cheapest current listing on Steam. What you'd pay to buy right now.
Median price
Median of recent completed sales. More reliable than the lowest listing since it reflects actual transactions, not just what someone is asking.
Liquidity (0-100)
Combines 24h volume and listing depth. High = easy to buy and sell without moving the price. Below 30 means any size will cost you.
Listed value
Total value of every active Steam listing, summed across all items. Orderbook-weighted, listings at higher prices count at their actual prices, not assumed to sit at the floor.
Market cap
Circulating supply (units sold from the store) times lowest ask. A theoretical ceiling, not exit liquidity. See our top items by market cap.
24h volume
Items traded on the Steam Market in the last 24 hours. Unit count, not dollar amount.
24h dollar volume
Total dollar value of trades in the last 24 hours. Shows where real money flowed, not just which cheap skins churned.
ATH / ATL
All-time high and low prices since we started tracking. Useful context for whether the current price is rich or cheap relative to history.
Change %
Price movement over 24h, 7d, and 30d periods from historical snapshots. Agreement across all three is a trend, disagreement is a bounce.
Steam fees
Steam takes ~13% from sellers (5% Steam fee + 8% game fee). Prices shown on sboxmarket are buyer prices. Sellers receive roughly 87%.
